LFS Mobile Assistenzsysteme

Researcher: Albert Hein

Runtime: since 10/2007

The scenario Marika (Mobile Assistenzsysteme für Routeninformation und Krankenakte) tries to support the work of care personnel by helping them with automatic documentation, assistance and automation. The documentation and accounting of care services mostly still happens manually. This takes a valuable amount of time which is missing for outpatient care. Even though there exist special care management systems they don't actually handle automatic activity recognition and documentation.

The main challenge of this scenario is to capture complex sequential action sequences in interaction with another person. The automatic documentation of accomplished activities must happen under the aspects of accountability and comprehensibility.

Marika is part of the LSF "Mobile Assistenzsysteme"
